Pompeii exhibition at the National Museum of Singapore, 22 Jan 2011.
Free admission, so it was really really crowded. Had to queue for quite a while to get to the entrance! It was a small sized exhibition. Pompeii was a Roman town destroyed and completely buried after the volcano Mount Vesuvius erupted in AD79.
Strangled dog on leash.
Some of the bodies, resin replicas.
This was a water fountain.
Frescos.
Young woman.
This would be such an interesting exhibit. The pictures are very mesmerizing. I can't imagine what it must have been like for an entire town to be consumed like that.
