I received a free coke glass while buying a meal from McDonalds, as part of a promotional campaign for the Beijing Olympics. You have to upsize both drink and fries to get the glass (and no I didn't get a coke but iced lemon tea). Coca-cola was called so because they used to contain cocaine and caffeine from kola nuts. Talk about double addiction! I'm glad to say I no longer drink a can of coke almost everyday for the caffeine. Tea does the work now.

I am so addicted to coke, but I am being good and really haven't had any since I quit drinking caffeine!
When I saw your title I guessed it was coca cola but I must be one of the very few people who hates coca cola, I prefer more fruit juices.
I recently saw a documentary for coco cola and it made me even more glad that I don't drink it.
Its weird that this promotion is now happening in singapore as my brother got one of those glasses 2 years ago from Mcdonald's promotions. Like you said you have a to buy a certain meal to be able to receive one :)
LOL! i'm still addicted to diet coke so I hate to think what would have happened to me if it still had the cocaine in it!

And I actually have a few really old unopened glass bottles of coke that I keep on my desk.
And that Coca Cola wall shelf is pretty sweet.
