VIDEO TUTORIAL: HOW TO COLOUR WITH COPIC MARKERS ON ISLANDER DIGI

This is a digi stamp just released called "Islander". I made a video demo / tutorial on colouring the lineart with copic markers. Printed with Epson inkjet onto ordinary cartridge paper (like cardstock). The background is made with coloured pencils and then I added a sky digitally. If you are using her for cards, just ignore the background.

Part 1: Face, Dress, Accessories

Part 2: Hair, finishing & background

Hope you find the video useful. I am not a pro with markers and tend to avoid high contrast shadows, also I don't have that many colours lol. You can view it on youtube if the resolution here is too small. Sorry about the lighting and exposure. It was getting dark.

The lineart is available here:https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/listing/265479600/

This one for the Nature Tots series called 'Toadstool Seeds'. Initially she has a toadstool hat but I realised there was one already so she has a modified beanie.

This one is called "Pied Piper of Birdsville". Initially she was something like a woodland elf thing but I changed it to something much cuter and whimiscal! Check out the bird on her head.

This pretty lass is in my typical shoujo lolita victorian-style clothing. I toned down on the details but she should be fun to colour.

This super sweet one is inspired partly by Little Twin Stars and the Statue of Liberty, so she can be used in various ways like birthdays, congratulations, fantasy, patriotic and best wishes crafts. This illustration is titled "Reach for the Stars".

ART NOUVEAU CLIP ART VECTOR PACKS

These are new clip art vector packs just released in my shop, with more coming soon! I am starting out with art nouveau first and the graphics can be used for logos, books, stationery, design work and other small commercial use. They are available as .ai, .eps and .png files and can be manipulated in Illustrator. The pngs are transparent background and can be used in Photoshop.

The images are from a public domain 1900s design book by Maurice Pillard Verneuil. Just beautiful! I redrew them entirely in Illustrator, tweaked some of the symmetry, and swapped out colours. These will be converted into digistamps soon so crafters can colour in the lines.
