BOTANIC GARDENS AGAIN

I went to the Singapore Botanic Gardens again last week and took some photos of the greenery. There is a new train station so it takes much less time to reach there from my home, though the entrance is at the back of the gardens instead of the main gate. The weather as usual, was muggy hot and humid. Very muggy hot and humid.

Black swan was preening itself on land.

Several ducks fighting with each other there.

Grass below some bamboo.

More grass

Heliconia

This was close to evening when the day has started to cool down just a bit.

Singapore's national flower - the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid.

Grass flower.

The squirrel was drinking rainwater out of a tree bark cup.

Perhaps it was thirsty due to the weather, it didn't bother to run when we approached.

Hibiscus

A wall at my favorite part of the gardens, an abandoned looking area called the Tropical House or something.
